I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.
Lovers don't finally meet somewhere,
they're in each other all along.

Just thought I'd share.
Life is running me pretty hard right now, but this struck a lovely chord inside me and I wanted to tell the world that I identify with it.
That's lovely Conina!!!!! And so true......I found mine at 5 years old ........my H is a childhood friend and we finally came together I my mid 20's but I loved him all that time.......he is my soulmate, friend and rock and I really feel that it hasn't only been in this life either xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice story Autumn, can we hear more? On your blog perhaps?
DeleteThat is a lovely story. :) I feel the same about the connection I have with my husband - that there was an invisible cord binding us together over the thousands of miles between us.
DeleteFolk don't read enough of Rumi
ReplyDeleteI only just discovered Rumi myself, through a bizarre combination of reddit comments on bestiality. Yeah. When you let it, a line of questioning can take you to the strangest places....
DeleteThank you Conina. I hope life settles down for you.
ReplyDeleteHug,
joey
I'm thinking it might, 'round March. (No exaggeration) Thank you for the well wishes. :)
DeleteVery nice...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure - thanks for being around to share with.
DeleteThat was very lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I also want to keep sharing those random things in a FB like setting for blogland, but Fet doesn't seem to fully meet that need and then of course the moment is gone. I know we don't have to share EVERYTHING, but there are some opportunities for small snippets that aren't quite blogs... whre can we share those? Twitter? Oh my.
Fet doesn't quite hit the spot for me either, clearly. I tend to be too verbose for twitter. So my blog will have to do until I learn to whittle down a bit.
DeleteTwitter is awesome. I highly recommend it. It's like a large instant-message screen with everyone you choose to follow participating.
Delete((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely, and something with which both Mrs. AP and I identify. Thank you for sharing. You're a wonderful woman who added a bright spot to my night.
Stay SINful
Mr. AP
I'm so glad to have added a bright spot! :) I love it, thank you.

I want to know why I haven't known this Rumi person before.... seems like a serious gap in my education somewhere.
