Fascination

I am fascinated by my child and the way he seems drawn to bondage-type things. If you're sick of my relating his bondage antics, I'm sure he'll come along with something in no way related to BDSM and disappear from anything related to this arena. At least where I can see him, anyway.

My husband and I asked him, after he'd asked to be "handcuffed" to the door with a ribbon for the 12th time that day, why that scene was the one he wanted to play over and over. After all, The Doctor does spend a great deal of time not handcuffed, right?

He looked at the both of us, and loudly stated "Because, it's HANDCUFFS."

'nuff said.

    Hahahaha. :) I always managed to find the spanking scenes in books. Didn't really matter too much what the rest of the book was like - if there seemed like there might be spanking, I'd read it. And I think my logic was much the same - *because* it's SPANKING!

    He does not spend much time at all handcuffed. I remember a few times when he was handcuffed.

      It's a scene from The Eleventh Hour that he wants to re-enact over and over and over - where Amy handcuffs the eleventh Doctor to her radiator, and she has to get his sonic screwdriver for him.

      Oddly enough, we also saw the third Doctor handcuffed this weekend in "The Sea Devils" I thought to myself "oh dear, I hope he doesn't want to do THIS scene over and over now."

      I was actually thinking about the episode "Planet of the Ood" when the Doctor and Donna were handcuffed together around a pole. They were helpless as the red-eyed Ood were attacking everyone in the compound. That is when they started using 'Doctor-Donna' as a moniker.

      Oh wow, you're right! I'd forgotten about that...

      There's also that bit near the end of "Forest of the Dead" where River handcuffs him..

      Now I just want to make a list of every Doctor Who episode in which the Doctor is handcuffed.. maybe someone already has.
